• A Fraternity update by Eric Eickhoff, Ohio Wesleyan ’00, director of Alumni Services.

The Fraternity Board of Trustees will come together for the Spring Board Meeting in Denver, Colo., April 24-26, 2026.

The Giving Day Challenge is an opportunity for brothers and friends to celebrate Beta theta Pi’s impact on its members and bolster pride in our Great and Good Fraternity while encouraging friendly competition between chapters.

Taking place over 1 day, 8 hours and 39 minutes, gifts made during the event provide unrestricted funds to the Beta Leadership Fund and support recruitment- and merit-based scholarships, volunteer and advisor training, and expanded leadership program attendance for the Fraternity’s collegiate brothers.

The award-winning John and Nellie Wooden Institute for Men of Principle is an incredible opportunity for initiated Betas that focuses on the ritual of Beta Theta Pi and becoming a better leader. The Wooden Institute allows Betas to interact with brothers and Friends of Beta from across North America. Participants share ideas, dissect Fraternity ritual, partake in challenging activities that focus on leadership skills, learn more about the history of Beta Theta Pi and reflect on the Fraternity’s heritage. Most importantly, participants have fun with other initiated Betas in Oxford, Ohio!

Beta is coming home for its annual reunion! Join Beta brothers, Sweethearts and guests at the 185th General Convention on the campus of Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. Home of the Miami Triad — Beta Theta Pi, Phi Delta Theta and Sigma Chi — and the Alpha chapters of the Delta Zeta and Phi Kappa Tau, Miami is affectionately known as the Mother of Fraternities.

Visit iconic Beta heritage sites across campus, from the Beta Campanile to the Hall of Chapters to the Alpha Chapter house. Take a trip to the grave site of Founder John Reily Knox up the road in Greenville, Ohio. Stand near the spot where the founders changed the course of history some 187 years ago.
