2024 topics will include:

• January: How to reduce resistance to change within your advisory team and chapter.
• February: Continued conversations from November 2023 on Title IX and crisis response.
• March: “When” and “how” to do evaluation/check-in conversations and learn a list of powerful questions, including those that open the door to allow people to step away.
• April: Best tips for developing strong recruitment plans, as well as how to best recruit students who may not be in their first year on campus.
• May: How to handle compassion fatigue, as well as how to deal with secondhand trauma while advising.
• June: Best practices to engage upperclassmen through their final years with the collegiate chapter, and how they can be part of the Beta experience in their years beyond the classroom.
• July: No Lunch and Learn this month.
• August: Best practices for recruiting and screening new volunteers for the advisory team.
• September: Working effectively with your campus’ fraternity and sorority life office.
• October: How to plan ahead. Ensure that a lack of planning on students’ parts doesn’t constitute emergency for your team.
• November: Giving thanks, including advisor appreciation.
• December: No Lunch and Learn this month.
